Easy Out

Today I learned a very important lesson. If you can pull up an interesting enough topic to talk about with your trainer, you can get out of working out. We got to the gym and spent most of our time stretching and chatting. Then when we actually did start working out, I put all the focus on Kirk. I did maybe three or four sets and then spent the rest of the time spotting him and counting out his reps. The trick is to at least do enough to work up a small sweat so you look exhausted by the time you hit the sauna. Then, everyone thinks you are hard core and you can truthfully say, “Yes! I spent two hour at the gym today.”
